Description
For some reason, I've come to discover a fascination with Venetian renaissance, the masks in particular.
The idea appeals to me, and there are so many different designs, styles and materials available for making these pieces of art. So I decided I should try my hand at making one. Or at least designing it.
The finished product will not be anywhere near as luxurious as the real deal (paper mache), but will hopefully be done soon. Ish.
As for the drawing, I did half of the mask in pencil and ink, then photoshopped it, putting the two halves together and colouring it. Not sure how long the colouring took, as I always seem to lose track of time while creating, but ehh. I'm happy with it.
NOTE: "some reason" is, sadly, Assassin's Creed 2. I figured not knowing the reason is better than it coming from a video game. A rather awesome video game, but a video game none the less. :T
